Shahi topped the podium in the women’s pistol final on the third day of the competitions, posting a score of 239 points to take the championship title. Teammate Fa’ezeh Ahmadi finished third with a score of 215.6 points, earning the bronze medal for Iran.
In the team contests, Iran’s men’s and women’s 10m air pistol squads also impressed, capturing silver medals in their respective categories.
The tournament is being held in Al Ain with elite para shooters from around the world competing for ranking points and qualification spots for upcoming international events.
